The Meguiar’s Version 2 G220 Dual Action Polisher is a new and improved version of the popular G220 machine polisher. Powered by a 220v motor, the lightweight and versatile Version 2 G220 is a handy tool that greatly reduces the amount of time it takes to effectively apply paint cleaners, polishes and waxes when applied by hand.
Dominik Berry, marketing manager at Meguiar’s UK, explains: “The Version 2 G220’s dual action head rotates and orbits at the same time, thus combining the effectiveness of a rotary polisher with the ease of use of an orbital machine.
“It is this dual action that delivers results far superior to applying products by hand and exceeds results of more commonly available buffers. It is extremely effective for swirl and scratch removal and addressing other minor paint defects.”
Inside the Meguiar’s Version 2 G220 Dual Action Polisher, the electronics have been upgraded to offer cruise control, which means the set speed can be maintained even when pressure is applied.
Also included with the Version 2 G220 is a newly developed backing plate on to which all existing Meguiar’s pads can be fixed quickly and easily. The Version 2 G220 can be used with ease on all paint types without training and can be used with an extensive range of Meguiar’s Mirror Glaze, Detailer and Enthusiast products.
